Our History

Modern Contemporary Art was founded in 2021 by Jackie Sarafopoulos. The gallery was developed to buy and sell artwork from the many artist’s, galleries, and artists estates that Jackie has collaborated with during her 25 +year career as an Independent Art Consultant, curator, art educator and collections manager. Modern Contemporary Art continues to grow it’s clients and partnerships working with artists, commercial and non-commercial art galleries, foundations, charitable trusts, specialists, and collectors worldwide.   Modern Contemporary Art also offers a bespoke art and collections management advisory service.

Jackie Sarafopoulos is a member of the Pallant House Gallery Collections and Exhibitions Advisory Group and provides philanthropic and advisory support to UK based artists, charitable organisations and communities.
